This PTI chap indulged in the usual rhetoric – shallow political rhetoric. If he is trying to sell PTIs manisfesto, he did a miserable job.
1. There is no such thing as Islam this or Islam that. Islam is Islam – there is no such thing as progressive or regressive Islam. PTI also is trying to cook up another interpretation of Islam.
2> He quoted the Quaid's speech "you are free to go to your temples ….." that I mentioned in my write up to you last Friday. Ask to give the other side of the story. If that was the case, then why did the Quaid ask for India to be divided on religious lines ?
3. And if so, then why was East Pakistan spun off on liguistic lines ?
Tell this fellow to face reality and if they want to create their own niche, tell them to think out of the hat
